This is a SURVIVOR format tournament. Players receive ONE (1) point per correct CONSECUTIVE "in the money" selection (typically Win, Place or Show). Once a player makes an incorrect selection, that entry is eliminated. The player or players with the most number of correct consecutive selections (points) win/share the prizes awarded.

Players earn one point for selecting a horse that finishes in either Win, Place or Show position. The one (1) point is awarded regardless of which position the horse finishes in.

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT POINTS REGARDING SURVIVOR CONTESTS: (1) Points are awarded for each correct selection in CONSECUTIVE races (in chronological order according to the contest schedule). Because races can sometimes run and be scored out of chronological order, it is important to note that points may be awarded and displayed on the leaderboard for races that finish out of consecutive order (for instance, if the 5th race is scored before the 4th race). Ultimately, prizes are awarded based on the number of successful CONSECUTIVE selections, and the scoring system will update accordingly once all consecutive races have been scored.

(2) If the field size of any race is reduced to where only Win and Place or Win only are/is paid out through the pari-mutuel pools, only horses that receive those payouts will be considered "in the money" selections for the purposes of this contest and this contest format.

This is a POOL-STYLE SURVIVOR tournament.  Under the Pool-Style format:

-The prize "pool" grows as additional players enter
-Essentially unlimited prize pools, higher prize upside
-Rare cancellations - tournaments almost always run

ENTRIES CLOSE TIME: The closing time for entries is designated once races have been inputted and will be reflected above.

SELECTIONS CLOSE TIME: This is a REGULAR FORMAT (LIVE) contest. Selections may be edited until post (selections close as second half of field is loading into gate).

TIEBREAKERS: Traditional tiebreakers are not appled in Survivor tourneys.  Players tied at the conclusion of the contest share prizes.

RACETRACKS: Eligible tracks are listed in the contest description by their official track abbreviations. Please note that not all racetracks may be used. Racetracks are subject to change.

RACES POSTED TIME: Contest races will be posted at this description page between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. ET approximately 48 hours prior to the start of the contest.

SELECTIONS OPEN TIME: Selections will open for the contest between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. ET approximately 24 hours prior to the start of the contest.
