This is qualifying contest to the KENTUCKY DOWNS King of the Turf Handicapping Challenge, to be held Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025. The event may be played ONLINE ONLY at XPRESSBET or 4NJBETS (NJ Residents Only), or through HPI for Canadian players.
PRIZES: One entry to the KENTUCKY DOWNS King of the Turf Handicapping Challenge will be awarded per 15 entries participating. The entry totals $2,500, with $1,500 going towards the player's live betting bankroll, and $1,000 in entry fees contributed to the prize pool.
QUALIFYING PARAMETERS: AT LEAST 13 ENTRIES MUST PARTICIPATE TO HOLD CONTEST. If at least 13 entries are not participating, the contest will be cancelled with entry fees refunded. 13 of 15 entries must participate to award first spot/package. For subsequent spots/packages, 13 of 15 entries must be participating for a spot to be awarded. No other rounding rules. Any breakage entries will be returned back to players in the form of refund credits to non-winners equal to the number of breakage entries, unless there is a current negative breakage balance (see home page for current breakage status).
TRANSFERS AND MULTIPLE ENTRIES: Please note that players MAY transfer entries if they so choose. Therefore, players may always play in their own name and transfer a won entry to another individual at a later date. This entry is NOT eligible for exchange into HorseTourneys site credit.
ENTRIES CLOSE TIME: The closing time for entries is designated once races have been inputted and will be reflected above.
FORMAT: $2 Win/Place on a single horse. Payout caps of 20-1 to win, 10-1 to place.
