IMPORTANT NOTE: If this qualifier fails to reach the minimum number of entries required to run, all entries will be advanced to the following week's qualifier, so that the following qualifier has the best chances to fill to minimum.  Entries will not be refunded.  Should players wish to cancel entries advanced to the next qualifier, they may do so by cancelling in the "Buy Entries" section.  Requests to refund the cancel fee will be honored, so please email support if you wish to do so.

This is a PICK & PRAY™ format contest. Selections will close for ALL contest races once the FIRST contest race closes. Players may NOT edit selections throughout the contest and must have all selections made prior to the first contest race. NO REFUNDS due to missed picks.

This is qualifying contest to the NEW YORK NEW YORK CHALLENGE, an online mega-contest to be held June 5-6 2026, here at HorseTourneys.  The NEW YORK NEW YORK CHALLENGE will featured a guaranteed cash pool of at least $200,000, with no limit on entries.  

PRIZES: One ENTRY to the NEW YORK NEW YORK CHALLENGE, to be held online on June 5-6, 2026, here at HorseTourneys.com, will be awarded per every 15 entries participating in the contest. Package includes: $1,500 entry.  Please note that the entry portion is NOT convertible to HorseTourneys site credit or cash; entries MUST be either used or transferred to another player. 

Please also note that entries to the NEW YORK NEW YORK CHALLENGE must be played and may not be cancelled.

QUALIFYING PARAMETERS: 13 of the first 15 entries must participate to award prize. Subsequently, 13 of 15 entries must participate to award prize.  No other rounding rules. Any breakage entries will be returned back to players in the form of refund credits to non-winners equal to the number of breakage entries, unless there is a current negative breakage balance (see home page for current breakage status).

TRANSFERS AND MULTIPLE ENTRIES: Transfers are not permitted.

ENTRIES CLOSE TIME: The closing time for entries is designated once races have been inputted and will be reflected above.

SELECTIONS CLOSE TIME: This is a PICK & PRAY™ format contest. Selections will close for ALL contest races once the FIRST contest race closes. Players may NOT edit selections throughout the contest and must have all selections made prior to the first contest race. NO REFUNDS due to missed picks.

FORMAT: $2 Win/Place on a single horse. Payout caps of 20-1 to win, 10-1 to place.

NUMBER OF RACES: 8-12, one-day only.

RACETRACKS: Eligible racetracks are listed in the contest title. Note that not all racetracks may necessarily be used and racetracks are subject to change.

RACES POSTED TIME: Contest races will be posted at this description page between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. approximately 48 hours prior to the contest.

SELECTIONS OPEN TIME: Selections will open for the contest between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. ET approximately 24 hours prior to the contest.
